Summer Fun!

Starting to see in black and white yet??? We want to thank you for joining with us to knock this first domino over. Hopefully all of you have had an opportunity to grab a pledge card and are stepping out in faith to see God bring those resources into your hands. Let's lock arms to see freedom in this valley. We may attend the Clovis site but when we needed our campus opened Fresno came to our aid and got us into our building. We hope you've seen over these last few weeks in our Domino Effect series that it's not about buildings or making Celebration the biggest, baddest church in town but as you know it's about (and will always be about) getting lost people saved. Every week and weekend that you serve, no matter what you are doing, you are furthering the Kingdom of Heaven. So give yourself a pat on the back for us, smile, and know that you are one awesome guy or gal.

If you ever hear someone mention the word "bored" this summer, then you will know right away that they do not attend Celebration. This summer Celebration is bursting at the seams with things to do, whether your in Pampers or Depends there is something for everyone! This weekend check-out the Events and Outreach table to get you and your family signed up. It's great that we work side by side every weekend and that is needed, but remember- all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! Let's come together, build community, and have some fun. We also want to encourage you to invite your lost family members and friends to these events. Our goal is to get out of our church bubble and into the community to make an impact. Your lost loved ones may not want to come to church with you but we guarantee that they'll go to the park, or a movie, or play a game of golf! Think about who that person is and bring them, and see their life changed.

***IMPORTANT: Our Clovis Park Day (scheduled for this Sunday) has been postponed until further notice. Please help spread the word :)

Thank you Clovis Volunteers! We love and appreciate everyone of you!

Father's Day Weekend=Lots of BBQ

If all the Clovis Volunteers received a nickel for every good thought this staff had towards them, you  would all probably have at least a few dollars by now, hopefully. All jokes aside we truly do appreciate each and everyone of you and look forward to our bright future ahead. We hope that this blog site has been a help to you and want to encourage you to keep checking it out during the week. This is a great tool that can help us get information to you in an timely, effective way, and gives us the ability to communicate the vision of our Clovis Campus. Keep reading for more important details!

If you were a deprived child and had to suffer through long days of watching a small, black and white television I have a word from heaven for you. BUY A STINKIN' RAFFLE TICKET AND WIN A 51 INCH PLASMA TV! Yes it's true, your days of suffering are over. All you have to do is pick up your $5 raffle ticket and you will have a chance to win a TV that is entirely too big to pass up. The drawing will take place this Saturday night, in service, so before the service kicks off make sure to get your name in!

Do you ever sit at home sometimes and wish that you could get all of your friends together and go to the park? I haven't, BUT now that we're talking about it I want to direct all of you to our Events and Outreach table to get signed up for our Clovis Park Day! It's going to be a blast, filled with food, laughs, and fun for the whole family. You won't want to miss out! And if you are a lady go to that same table and sign up for the Chick Flick night. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening than hangin' with my girlfriends, popcorn in one hand, nachos in the other, with a tear trickling down my face from the big breakup scene (that's if I were a girl I mean...). Get signed up this weekend and make sure you help spread the word!

Yes Mr. Obvious the month of June is almost over but it's never too late to check our the calendar for some exciting, up-coming stuff!

I don't know about anyone else but I will never look at a little domino the same way again! What an amazing series this has been so far, giving fresh vision for the road ahead, and a clear target to aim at. Let's continue to use our God given authority and declare that our new Fresno site is PAID AND FULL! What a great weekend this will be to invite people as we talk about the church beginnings and how God has used it to affect this community. So the big question is, who are you bringing to church this weekend?!

And if you are a dad we want to wish you a big, fat, happy Father's Day with ranch on the side. We appreciate each one of you for your hard work and for being the leaders in the home that God has called you to be. You're awesome!

With love,
Your Clovis Campus Staff
