Clovis Leaders! Thank you for taking the time to tune into the blog today, we are delighted to have you! We truly believe that we have the best Volunteers a church could ask for, and we thank you for pouring your hearts and lives into what God is doing here; we love you!

This is an audio clip of Pastor Randy this Tuesday morning. What he said impacted the staff and those that were there in a tremendous way, and we wanted to share it with you as leaders on our campus. Get excited, because this is going to change your life! (This clip is 20 minutes long, but well worth every minute!)

Wasn't that amazing! As a PRAYER TARGET this week we are going to be praying against fear in our own lives, and the lives that are a part of this movement. NO FEAR HERE!

Last night we had 68 people get baptized and make a public declaration of their faith; what an amazing sight to see! Thank you for working so hard, week after week to see people give their lives to Christ!

If you missed it, Pastor Randy showed us this video that we believe is a right now word for us. Pastor encouraged us to listen to this message from John Kilpatrick as much as possible, and really get a hold of everything that God has for our lives. Check out the video below.

CALENDAR
The new calendar has been posted for this month's events, so make sure and take a look because this could be you:

Visitor: "Hey what's going on this month at church?"
You: "... Uhhh, I don't know. I didn't click on the link this week to find out."(sad face)

It's very important as leaders that we stay up to date on what's going on in the church and on our campus so that we can effectively communicate to someone who may be new or out of the loop. Most importantly we don't want you to miss out on all the great things we have going on this month! Just click on the LINK to check it out! Thanks Clovis Leaders!

BAPTISMS
You are all officially invited to our Celebration-- POOL PARTY! We will be having Water Baptisms on Wednesday, April 24th, at 7pm. This is a time where we can all come together and celebrate what God is doing in the lives of all the people who made the decision to give their life to Jesus Christ! If you haven't been baptized and want to be you can sign up at the Connection Point tables in the lobby.

PRAYER TARGET
This week's prayer target is for Rick Warren, the founder and Senior Pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest California. Recently Pastor Warren and his family suffered the tragic loss of his son Matthew, who was 27 years old. For anyone who's ever experienced the loss of a loved one you can understand what this family is going through. So lets all pray that they will have peace in their spirit, soul, and body, and that they'll be comforted during this hard time.

Anthony helps manage the Usher Team and Gloria is one of our Coffee Bar managers. This dynamic duo always brings new ideas to the table to make ministry better and they do a terrific job taking care of their team.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

We have a HUGE weekend ahead of us Clovis Leaders! So BIG that we had to get the blog out to you early!

Volunteer Sneak Peek Production!
This Friday at 7pm, all Clovis and Fresno Volunteers will be coming together at the Clovis Campus to get a first look at this year's Easter Production show. This is a night just for you and your family (immediate family only please) to honor you and thank you for everything you do.

IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU!

Childcare will not be provided because we've made this night into one for the whole family to enjoy! Also, food and refreshments will be provided after service in the lobby; it's the least we could do for the best bunch of volunteers in the whole world!  So bring the family and let's have an awesome night!

Easter Production 2013
Our productions are custom fit for your lost friends and family. That is the bottom line! This production does no good if we don't bring the lost to join us, we have a city to reach out to and it is our responsibility to get the word out. Ask yourself the question, "Who do I know that needs to hear about Jesus? Who do I know that is lost and on their way to hell?" That may seem like a hard question to ask yourself, but this life is to short to neglect those facts!

If you have children or you're inviting someone with kids, then Kic is the place to be this weekend! They're going to have so much stuff going on even as an adult I'm thinking about checking myself in!
  • Bounce houses
  • Face painting
  • Balloon animals
  • The easter bunny
  • Candy
      And much more!

Don't be that parent who let's their kids miss out on all the fun! Let's get the word out to everyone and let's have the best Easter ever!

Prayer Target
We have a big weekend ahead of us and we are in expectation of having a full house in both services. This week's prayer target is for EVERY SEAT FILLED. Let's all be praying and believing that every invite that went out over the last couple of weeks are coming in and that they are going to encounter something that will change their lives forever. Make sure you get to church on time this weekend after you pray this prayer target because there's going to be standing room only!

Even though there's still a few more weeks left for this month, make sure you're still keeping up on the the calendar so you don't miss any last things. Click the LINK to check it out.

VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK
FREDDIE & CRISTAL ESQUEDA!

Freddie serves on the Security Team while Cristal serves in Kic. Together they make a dynamic volunteer duo!

Not only is Freddie one of the "cool guys" you see riding in on his Harley across the parking lot, but he's also a great team player by serving whenever he is needed, a leader in our Men's Workshop, and is also involved in our C-Groups.

"Freddie is our Samson of the movement- besides being strong with flowing locks, he's got a strong character that will take him far!" - Jacob Justice

As an "above and beyond" volunteer, Cristal does it all! Most people don't know, but Cristal has stayed out every Wednesday night to help with the kids so that others can enjoy Word Works and Men's-what a team player! She is the bomb at recruiting new people to serve and steps in whenever she is needed. Over all she is a fantastic Volunteer!

Thanks everyone! You're doing such an amazing job reaching out to our city!

Easter Madness

Clovis Volunteers! We are so thankful for each one of you! We know that this has been a busy season for most of you but your consistent, fiery passion to love God and reach people is absolutely inspiring! Here is a tasty blog for you to feast on today :)

VOLUNTEER T-SHIRTS
We have an awesome face-life coming to our Volunteer base to help us take our game up to a whole new level around here. And that is Volunteer t-shirts! These sharp looking shirts will help us stand out and be unified every weekend, bringing a great attraction and will help identify our leaders on our campus. The cost for your shirt is $10 (cash, check & credit accepted). Please visit the Volunteer Table this weekend to order/pay for your shirts so we can have them for Easter!

EASTER 2013
The Easter Bunny is at our doorstep Clovis leaders; this is our opportunity to reach our city! The people of Fresno and Clovis should be annoyed by our constant invites!

If you have ever been apart of our Easter services you know that they are strategically designed to reach people that are far from God. Every song, visual, and light effect are to point people to Jesus, and we want you to know that this will be a fun, safe, environment to bring your family to.

INVITE!
Really give some thought to who you are going to invite. Who is in your "circle" (your job, school, Starbucks, etc.) that you can invite to come? If it's someone you know, really try your best to get them to go- they have the chance to be eternally impacted!

Make sure to grab some invite cards!
You can also send someone an evite from our church website [Click Here]

PRAYER TARGET
This week's prayer target is for all of our Easter Services next weekend! We are expecting great things to happen in these services so lets all come into agreement that a harvest of souls are coming in and that they would experience God who will radically change their lives forever!

MARCH MADNESS
This Saturday- Matthew Barnett! He's got a power packed message for us here in Fresno and Clovis and we are honored that he would come all the way here to help us. We know that you have been coming to a lot of church but we firmly believe that these are the moments that can change your life! With that said, we will see you this Saturday! :)

VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK

JERRY KIMBERLIN!
Jerry faithfully serves in our Kic ministry. If you looked up the definition of willingness in the dictionary there would be a picture of Jerry! He's always excited to serve whether it's in Kic, helping paint lines on the sidewalk, or staying after to set up tables for workshops. Jerry does it all! A BIG thank you Jerry from the Clovis Staff for your faithful dedication for serving God's house.

Thanks everyone, we are looking forward to a great weekend together!

March Madness: Third Quarter!

Hello Clovis Volunteers! Welcome to this week's edition of the blog, we hope you enjoy!

PRAYER TARGET
This week our Prayer Target will be for our leaders Pastors Randy and Cherie. We have the awesome privilege of having Pastors Randy and Cherie speaking into our lives and it is imperative that we are in constant prayer for them. Here are some things that you can begin to speak over their lives:

  • Protection
  • Strength
  • Holy Spirit led
  • Blessed
  • Prosperous
  • Don't grow weary in well doing
The devil would love nothing more then to knock you off of your walk with Christ and one of the tactics he uses is to try and take out the people who positively affect your life the most- so let's pray for our leaders!

Thank you for your participation!

MARCH MADNESS
We are in week 3 of March Madness and it just keeps getting better and better! This Saturday, in Clovis at 6pm, Phil Munsey will be starting the game with a message that we believe will increase our momentum for an even greater year! Sunday morning Pastor Randy is back and on fire with a word continuing the Rescued series-- hold on to your seat because this is going to be a wild ride!

AND THAT'S NOT ALL!

This Saturday night we have Yosemite Concessions coming out selling food right after service. Part of the proceeds will go towards  our KIC Ministry! Come support KIC by feeding your face!

AND AGAIN...

C20 (18-29) is selling $1 root beer floats Sunday after service. I don't know about you but after these last couple of hot days, a root beer float doesn't sound too bad right about now!

We encourage you to double up this weekend and invite someone to both services. See you there!

C-GROUPS
If you haven't signed up for a C-Group yet we have groups being added every week and we're certain that there's a group that will fit you perfectly. This is a great resource to build relationships and create community with one another. Let's not make church just another weekend experience, but let's do life together!

But what if I don't find a C-Group that appeals to me?

I'm glad you asked. YOU CAN START ONE!

If you have a great idea for a group and would like to lead it yourself we would love for you to do so. Come to the Connection Point tables in the lobby and pick up a leader application paper.

CALENDAR LINK
Here's the LINK to this months calendar once again just in case you haven't check it out yet. There's something going on almost everyday of the week we would love to see you there!
