Hello, Clovis Leadership Team!
I hope all of you are having a great week! If you weren't at our "God Time United" service last night, you totally missed out!!! We baptized 56 people in water last night--it was a powerful and anointed time! It gave us such good perspective of how many people have just recently (within the last couple months) come through our doors and received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Last night they shared some of their stories of how God is turning their lives around and then we 'drowned some stuff at the bottom of the pool'!! Leaders...that is what it's ALL ABOUT! We are truly making an eternal impact in this community.
One thing that really stuck out to our staff is the fact that the majority of these new people came to Celebration because they were invited by someone or they received an invite card/door hanger! That should really challenge all of us to make sure we are inviting people and passing out invite cards EVERY SINGLE WEEK!
On our Campus Goals, we set an aggressive, yet very attainable, goal of increasing by 1000 people this year. We are only going to achieve that if we are diligent about inviting people on a consistent basis. One of the leadership quotes we posted last week by Brian Tracy says, "Do SOMETHING everyday to move you towards achieving your goal." It can be as simple as passing out ONE invite card, or praying and declaring over the cards that have already been passed out, that we will reap the harvest. Whatever it may be, let's commit to doing SOMETHING everyday to move us toward that goal. Many of us are already doing this and we appreciate it so much. Thank you. But it is truly going to take all of us, as a united force, to reach our goal. It's time for all of us to step up our game and get aggressive to advance God's Kingdom in this valley together!

2.11.11 Marriage Weekend
Hello Clovis volunteers! We hope that this week has been going well for you, especially with all this wonderful sunshine! It’s allllllmost like we live at the beach, just without the salty sea breeze, the warm, white sand, the sounds of the crashing waves, and tasty clam chowder but besides that, we’re practically there! But let’s step back into reality shall we? Who wants to live at the stinkin’ beach anyways?
Well if you haven’t heard, this weekend is called Marriage Weekend here at Celebration. There is love in the air with Valentine’s Day right around the corner and we have some exciting, fun elements we are adding to the services that we want to give you the inside scoop on. So whether you’re married, or single and ready to mingle, these services have a lot to offer you, your family, and friends, so bring someone with ya!
Here’s some info about the weekend to equip you (at this time we will use bullet points so that it makes us look smarter):
· 2SM and KIC will be selling roses as a fundraiser in the lobby for $2 so gentlemen make sure your special girl doesn’t get left out! We do have the possibility of a vendor coming out so whether you buy a flower or some food bring some cash.
· Camp is coming up for both 2SM and KIC and they will be taking sign-ups for counselors and students. We would love for you to be apart of those camps if you can; we promise your life won’t be the same.
· Don’t forget our volunteer recruiting competition is underway. We are keeping track of every person that you bring in to volunteer and the winner will not be disappointed! The applications and sign out sheet will be at Guest Services this weekend so identify and recruit those leaders that aren’t plugged in yet and bring ‘em in!
We can’t thank you enough and remember as you go about your day, if you wear your coat of favor long enough, it will begin to get on the inside of you. No matter what situation your facing, wear that coat with your head held high, knowing that you’re God’s favorite!
There are exciting things on Celebration’s horizon that we can’t wait to share so make sure you stay posted. We want to equip you with information and let you be the first to know what’s going on around here. Remember this is a year of growth and increase, keep our campus goals in front of you so we can aggressively pursue the vision before us as a team. We love you lots and we’ll see you this weekend!
