From Good to Great!

Hey Leaders! Here are some great points taken from Perry Noble's Leadership Blog to help us go from good to GREAT! As leaders, we are essentially leading a campus of people- that's a big responsibility! We also, as leaders need to have an ownership mentality towards our campus. We have to treat it like it's our own and be faithful to what God has given us. Enjoy!

From Good to Great

A good leader makes assumptions…A GREAT leader asks questions!
A good leader waits for feedback…A GREAT leader solicits feedback!
A good leader finds reasons for the problem…A GREAT leader finds solutions for the problem!
A good leader takes notes…A GREAT leader creates actions steps!
A good leader works a job…a GREAT leader invests their lives in what they do!
A good leader leads through declarations…a GREAT leader leads through influence!
A good leader makes promises…a GREAT leader keeps their promises!
A good leader asks “What Are You Doing”...a GREAT leader asks “How Are You Doing?”

Celebration Summer!

Camp 2013!
We could talk for hours about how awesome the camps are at this church. There are stories after stories of young people (and counselors) who have come back from this powerful week changed forever! Don't allow finances or other plans to deter you from sending your child to camp, or from going yourself.

This week is where memories are made! Please stop by the tables in the lobby to pick up your packet.

Who am I Recruiting?!

Have you seen the benefits of serving God in your life? Has joining a team helped you build stronger relationships and in turn strengthened your walk with God?

I know it did for us, and we want to encourage you to join us in asking people to join the team. You should never feel like you’re “burdening” anyone when you ask him or her to serve- it’s an opportunity of a lifetime! Not only are you linking arms with God to see people saved and changed but your own individual life will benefit as well!

So stick some Interest Cards in your pocket and go to town! There are leaders at our church, just like you, waiting for you to ask them!

Who wants to do life ALONE?

We were never meant to go through life alone; even the Lone Ranger had Tonto! We were designed to have relationships and that's exactly why C-Groups are here; to meet and build relationships with people of common interest. We have so many different groups, it would be hard not to choose one!

Take a look in the C-Group binders at the Connection Point Tables and come be a part of these life changing events!

Or click HERE to see our calender!
