They are consistently stepping in to fill in for people and do it willingly with a nice, big smile. Thank you David and Darlene for advancing God's Kingdom in this Valley, we wouldn't want to do this without you!

Fantastic Clovis Volunteers!

We could spend all day beating around the bush, talking about the weather, discussing the stock-market or the latest sports highlights, but let’s get down to the nitty-gritty...

A big shout out to all of you who helped serve with us this last weekend! Thanks to all of you, we were able to see so many people give their lives to God! We are truly appreciative of  every smile, every hand shake, and every work of service that brought them to the place of receiving Christ. The cool thing is, God sees each of your commitments to volunteering. Quoting William H. Murray, “The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.” In other words, when God sees your faithful commitment to serving His kingdom, His rewards are on the way! You guys are doing a great job and we are believing for the power of God to work strongly in your lives!

UPDATES:
It’s hard to believe that this Wednesday is the last week of Men’s and Women’s Workshops, but DON'T WORRY- We have an exciting Summer coming up!
  • We will be having a special On the Wall service on May 23rd which is sure to be power packed!
  • Wednesday, May 30th we are kicking off a new series called Relentless by John Bevere! We will be pre-selling books and workbooks this weekend if you are interested in purchasing those.

You cannot miss out on these exciting Wednesday nights, as we come together and connect. Celebration Church is all about cultivating a strong community and coming together as a family. To help make that happen we will be kicking off these nights at 6:30pm with food for everyone! For a small price you'll be able to feed the whole family dinner and connect with others on the campus (expect some fun surprises after the services as well!). As leaders, please help us spread the word- it's going to be a great Summer together!

We are now proud to announce that our Volunteer of the Week is......................

Who doesn't love Wendy?! Wendy is a volunteer who is an encouragement to all. She is so joyful and so full of faith that she inspires everyone that she comes in contact with. Faithful Leaders

faith·ful

1. Adhering firmly and devotedly, as to a person, cause, or idea; loyal.
2. Having or full of faith.
3. Worthy of trust or belief; reliable.
4. Consistent with truth or actuality: a faithful reproduction of the portrait.

Hey Clovis Volunteers! Let's reflect. It takes 100's of people to make a weekend service successful and you are those leaders! Your faithfulness to volunteering is a major component to people getting saved at a weekend service. Whether you are working in a Kic classroom or greeting at an entrance, each and every one of your roles play a part in people having their lives completely changed! Maybe it's the friendly "Hello!" to a new comer or the assuring smile when you are checking their kids into a classroom or even the care you take while escorting them to a comfortable seat in the sanctuary. Each and every single one of you are equally important and on behalf of those who have been saved at Celebration Church, "Thank you for serving!"

Updates:

We are especially excited for this weekend because Damon Thompson is back and will be speaking Saturday Night as well as at our special Sunday night service! Pastor Randy truly believes that Saturday night will be a turning point for this ministry so be sure to come and be a part of what God has for Celebration Church! Invite people to come with you to our services. Utilize social media such as Facebook, Twitter, etc...text, call, email, whatever it takes to get them there. Come with high faith and expectation, which is the breeding ground for miracles!

We also want to take a minute to communicate/remind everyone about 3 "core" things we do here  at Celebration Church every single month. Celebration Exposed, Discipleship, and Volunteer Orientation. We believe these 3 events can truly help us build a strong, healthy campus if we can get people to them. It's extremely important for every leader in Clovis to understand the significance & purpose of these 3 events so that you can help make them a success.

So here it is:
1) Celebration Exposed is all about connecting new people/families to Celebration Church! It's an opportunity for new people to meet staff, hear more about our ministry & how they can get involved. Plus we feed them a FREE lunch.

2) Our Discipleship class is uniquely geared towards equipping new believers & laying out steps for continual growth in their relationship with God!

3) Volunteer Orientation is all about building a strong team of volunteers! It establishes the heart behind serving & gets people involved in serving God's house.

Here's our part:  As you make connections with people at church, (our #1 priority) help us build a strong, healthy campus by pushing these core events . We are all about people and providing opportunities to get them in the game with us.
Here are the dates for this month:
Celebration Exposed-May 20th
Discipleship-May 23rd
Volunteer Orientation-May 27th

And finally, we would like to introduce our Volunteer of the Week!!!!!!!! You know him, you love him...

ANTHONY SEGURA!!!!!!

Anthony Segura is a 2SM volunteer who truly goes above and beyond!!! His genuine faithfulness and reliable leadership is outstanding! Anthony's heart for ministry is what drives him to push his area of ministry with passion and motivation. A true definition of a leader. We love you Anthony! Thank you so much for your faithfulness to Celebration Church!!!

Once again, thank you all for your integrity and commitment to this ministry. We appreciate all of you and are believing that God is going to keep doing amazing things in each and every one of your lives!

Celebration Clovis Campus!

WHAT IS UP Clovis Volunteers??? It’s a brand new week and a brand new blog! Here's some vision and instruction for us as leaders to take us and our campus to another level:

We can’t stress enough how important it is that you attend our Wednesday Night services! Our weekend services as you know, are all about welcoming first time visitors and seeing people give their lives to Christ, that is our main objective. Our Wednesday nights however, are about developing us as leaders, growing us together as a family, and creating a culture of healthy community. In other words, these nights are all about helping you! We need leaders that are healthy and strong that can overcome challenges in their own lives and help others through theirs. That’s what Wednesday Nights are all about! If you haven’t attended any of our Wednesday night services, no worries, we have our Mens and Women's Workshops at 7:00PM every Wednesday, and something for the whole family. We highly encourage and welcome you to come and get connected with your church family!

Heading out to minister at
the prison!
If you haven't heard, we just sent 19 people on a missions trip to Honduras! There is no telling what amazing things God has planned for the country of Honduras, so we are asking that everyone join us in prayer and be in high expectation that everything that God has for this missions trip will take place! Check out our Celebration Facebook page for daily updates!

Our goal like we said earlier is to connect and help first time visitors the best that we know how at our weekend services. In order to execute this mission we have established a specific place for those first time people/families that we are calling "The Visitor Lounge." If during the weekend you meet anyone that is a first time visitor, please offer to escort them to the Visitor Lounge so that we will be able to meet and connect with them personally. We will have a tour and some light refreshments just waiting for them! (This "spot" is located right across from the 2-Spot in our West Lobby)

Speaking of 2SM, they now have there own night! 2SM is now meeting on Tuesday nights at 7:00PM for their 2 groups. If you have or know any junior-high to high-school age kids, bring them out! 2SM nights are a great way to get them connected with other people their age. They’ll be encouraged, challenged, and strengthened in a safe, yet fun environment of peers and leaders.

And now, the moment everyone has been waiting for. Our volunteer of the week is.....

Lisa Suazo!!!!!

Lisa Suazo is one of those volunteers who goes far above and way beyond. Her willingness to serve is motivating and her punctuality is inspiring. Thank you so much Lisa for faithfully serving Celebration Church and helping us build God's Kingdom. You are a blessing to this ministry!

And a BIG thanks to all of you for your dedication to this movement. We want you all to know that you are valued and appreciated by the leadership of Celebration Church. We are praying for you and believing that God is doing great things for you, and through you!

As leaders it is our job to stay sharp and equipped so here is a great blog from Steven Furtick to develop us- click on the link and enjoy!   Perfect For You

We love you all!

Roses are Red...

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Spring time is awesome,
and so are Clovis Volunteers!

What’s happening Clovis Volunteers?! Like always, we just want to say congratulations for being amazing! It's an honor to run this race with each and every single one of you! Just like Pastor Cherie said in the new series Who You Are this last weekend, every believer gets to be a different part of the body of Christ, some get to be the hands, some get to be the feet, and some get to be the nose but ALL are vitally important and individually unique.  We want to take the time to say thank you for being “who you are” and for doing what you do at Celebration Church!

We also want to thank you for all of your hard work to make our Easter weekend a huge success. As we did our part by passionately inviting people and encouraging them to come check out the Easter production, God was able to impact so many lives! But let’s not stop there! There are still many lost people in this city who don’t have a relationship with God but need to encounter Jesus Christ. Let’s be bold enough to step out of our “church” swimming pool, and start doing some deep-sea fishing. Start fishing in your work-place, your school, or even in your neighborhood and remember, it’s very hard to stop a train that’s running on full-steam, so let’s continue to passionately invite those people that God has put in our lives!

Clovis Updates:

- 2SM is now meeting on Tuesday nights! They now have their own special night to do whatever they want! Just kidding, we promise to infuse your children with life empowering messages, thought provoking questions, and provide a place for them to have some fun. If you have kids from junior high to high school, be sure to bring them out and tell them to invite their friends!

- Secondly, we need all of you to be in prayer for those who are going to Honduras this next week. Let’s be in agreement for them to go on this trip with boldness, that their needs would be provided, that they stay healthy and whole, and that everything God has planned for them in this trip will come to pass!

Last, but certainly not least, we are proud to announce that the Volunteer of the Week is......

Jamaal Littles!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let’s brag on Jamaal for a bit. Jamaal is one of those volunteers who goes above and beyond the call of duty. His faithfulness and eagerness to serve is phenomenal! These last few weeks, he has stayed late, arrived extra early, finished his tasks with care as well as excellence. There are so many great things we can say about Jamaal, but for lack of room on this page we will sum up and say that Jamaal Littles is an inspiration to us all! Thank you for all of your help!

Clovis Volunteers thank you for tuning into this week's blog post. We are looking forward to impacting lives with you this weekend. Let's set a HOT atmosphere and have some fun! Love you!
