Backpacks, Baptisms & Bold Volunteers!

Hey Hey Hey! It's Clovis Staff! 

      How is everyone doing? Any cloud reports? We want everyone to know that we are lifting you up in prayer and are believing for heavy rain to manifest in your lives. We want to hear about those cloud reports so let us know by posting them on Celebration's WEBSITE! From being blessed with a free cup of coffee to winning the million-dollar Lotto ticket, we want to know what God is doing in your lives!

Stuff You Wanna Know:

With school around the corner, it is time for our annual Backpack Outreach! This year our goal is 1,000 backpacks filled with a few school supplies to give out to children who would otherwise show up to school without one. You would be shocked at how many children in this valley go to school without the proper necessities to help them learn. This is our opportunity to do something about it! The event is Saturday, August 18th from 9-11am at Manchester Center in the parking lot located off of Blackstone and Shields. (Also looking for volunteers to be a part of the event)

-New Backpack
-Folders
-Paper
-Pencils
-Colored Pencils

2SM is still rockin' it! If you have children from Junior High to High school ages, get their butts to 2SM at 7:00PM on Tuesday nights. 2SM is going through a "spicy" little series called Satan's Sex Ed. This curriculum is built to attack the subject of purity head-on by confronting taboo's and answering questions that aren't usually discussed. But that's not all, these Tuesday nights are jam-packed with fun, exciting activities and present a healthy environment to come and chill in. Do everything you need to do to get them there! P.S. 2SM will be selling ice cream this weekend so let's all support them by buying a cone!

Ready to splish 'n' splash? Get ready because we are having a pool party in Clovis! Baptisms are this Wednesday night so if you haven't been baptized and would like to be or know someone that would, get them signed up this weekend at the Workshop table. There will be a class preceding the baptisms that teaches what baptism is and explains the importance of doing so. See you in the tank!

Shanna Tyson!!!

Shanna is a greeter who goes above and beyond. Greeting with a cheerful personality as well as her delightful smile every time she serves! She has covered a few shifts for fellow teammates and she has even been volunteering some extra time in the office lately! How cool is that? Shanna, we just want to tell you how much we appreciate your willingness to serve. Thank you so much for your faithfulness and dedication to serving the kingdom of God!
