Summer Rain- Literally!

Did anyone else feel some rain drops this morning?!

Pastor shared with us during our morning prayer service, that he doesn't believe that this natural rain is one bit of a coincidence but that God is using something in the natural to point to what is taking place in the spiritual.

We want to thank all of you for coming out on Wednesday nights and making these gatherings a priority. If you have to work or have other obligations that haven't allowed you to come, don't worry because this rain is for you too! Thank you Clovis Volunteers for stepping up and making these amazing services possible, we are asking for rain and now we're seeing it!

Baby Dedications
This Saturday night we will be dedicating lots and lots of babies to the Lord! Our check-in table will be located in the lobby, under the big "C" logo if anyone is looking for it, please help us direct those parents. Baby Dedications always bring family members and friends so lets put our best foot forward this weekend and expect a great harvest!

College and Young Adults Lake Event
Come cool off and make some friends this Sunday Night at our Young Adult Lake Event! Did I mention that we will have the lake all to ourselves?! Located in Kerman, this private lake will supply us with all the fun we need:
  • Boats
  • Jet Skis
  • Recreational swim area
  • Lounge/hangout area
The cost is only $5 at the Events and Outreach Table. Directions to the location will come after payment is made. It is also a BYOFAB (Bring Your Own Food And Beverage)! Don't miss out on the fun! Great event to bring unchurched people to!

And now for everyone's favorite part, our Volunteer of the Week is...

Ashleigh Butler!!!

Where does one begin when it comes to Miss Ashleigh's fantastic volunteer accolades? For starters Ashleigh is a tremendous help in Kic and also 2sm, showing up extra early on the weekends to prep for Kic and fills in where ever she may be needed. Just this week she got some people to come to church for the first time and even covered for someone else's shift when she wasn't on. Thank you Ashleigh! We absolutely appreciate you and are proud to have you as Volunteer of the Week!

Clovis Volunteers, we love you, and that's all there is to it. Let's have another great weekend together!

Clovis Staff :)
